Happy Valentine's Day, Team WB! We appreciate each and every single one of you who make our district such a truly wonderful place!

Thank you to everyone who supported the sixth annual Casino Night fundraiser for the West Bloomfield Educational Foundation! The evening was filled with fun and excitement as over $30,000 was raised to support education in the classroom.

A special thank you to Auch Construction and French Associates for being the presenting sponsors for the event!

The West Bloomfield School District hosted a parent presentation on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the West Bloomfield High School iCenter. The purpose of the presentation was to inform parents about the recommended middle school transition plan from the district’s middle school transition plan workgroup.

Oakland Early College is hosting Information Sessions around the community prior to the program's March 1 application deadline. Please consider attending to learn more about the program to see if it is a fit for you and your family. Their meeting date/time/locations are listed below:

Abbott Middle School will be presenting "Shrek Jr." on Feb. 28-29 at West Bloomfield High School. Tickets are available at ShowTix4U.com.

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a big bright beautiful world as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.

WBYA recognizes young people from our community for making positive volunteer contributions every year. Nominations come from schools, hospitals, religious organizations, fire and police departments, and private citizens. Local, county, and state dignitaries participate in recognizing the nominees and making the event very special.
