Rincon Parent Participation Still Needed on our Annual Survey
Schools are required to have a certain percentage of parent participation on these surveys. Currently Rincon is about 11% below where we need to be. We do review this data as a site and take the feedback into account while adapting our practices related to the feedback we receive. If you have not done so already, please take a few minutes to complete this survey. Thank you, in advance, to everyone who participates.

ACT and AZ Science Testing
Anyone who missed the ACT Aspire, ACT and/or the AZ Science tests will be called out of class for makeups. We are required to test 95% of our students, but we always shoot for 100%. Even if you are participating in the make-up testing sessions, please do your try hard and do your very best. The scores still count the same!
Partial Solar Eclipse: Proper Protective Eyewear is a MUST
There will be a partial solar eclipse taking place on April 8th, with the majority of the event occurring while Rincon students are at lunch. Approximately 75% of the sun will be covered by the noon at the peak of the eclipse, at 11:20 a.m.
PLEASE talk to your student about protecting their eyes, as staring at the sun to catch a glimpse of this can cause permanent damage to their eyes. If you have a student who wants to see this event, please make sure he/she has proper protective eyewear to watch it during lunch time.
We are told that the Planetarium is giving out free eyewear until it runs out if you would like to contact them for protective eyewear.
