The Prowler
Week of January 20-24, 2025
From Mr. Moreno's Desk:
Teachers, Staff, Parents, and Students,
Last week marked the conclusion of the third six-week grading period, and report cards will be distributed to students on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. We kindly request that parents review their child's report card, sign it, and have their student(s) return it to their second-period teacher on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
7th grade Reading and Math tutorials are currently in progress for students who need remediation, extra assistance, or are working to complete their required hours as outlined by HB1416. As always, we appreciate your support in ensuring your child(ren) attend these recommended tutorials to help them succeed and perform well on the STAAR assessments.
As always, we encourage parents to prioritize daily school attendance. Our goal is to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 96% for the year, and we truly appreciate your partnership in helping us achieve this important objective.

#ThoughtForTheDay... “It’s extremely difficult for students to learn when they believe the adults at school don’t like them. The key is to show compassion, try and understand why they feel that way, and then work with them in a way that changes their perception of us.” #Culturize @casas_jimmy
“Every situation in life is temporary. So, when life is good, make sure you enjoy and receive it fully. And when life is not good, remember that it will not last forever and better days are on the way.”” @IMQUOTES_VIDEOS
