ALL JAZZ BAND STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED to attend the Region Jazz Concert on Wednesday, November 20, 7:30pm at Carroll Senior High School to support their friends! Students need to take a selfie with one of the region jazz members at the concert or check in with a director to prove attendance.

REGION AUDITIONS: Region Band auditions are held at Coppell High School. Students are responsible for their own travel.

Phase 1 Woodwinds - Monday December 2 (after school - time TBD)

Phase 1 Brass and Percussion - Tuesday, December 3 (after school - time TBD)

Phase 2 and Freshman - Saturday, December 9

All students will turn in a band placement audition for the Spring Semester. The audition is the Freshman Cuts (LINK) of the region music. The Audition is due on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Do NOT wait to until the last minute to record! One of our goals, developed by the leadership team, is for everyone to submit their audition ON TIME.

We're headed to the playoffs! Playoff football schedules do not come out until late. We will communicate information ASAP.

The CHHS Guard is kicking off the 2025 Winter Guard season with Auditions on November 19 and 21. Have a friend who is not in the band? Have them sign up for auditions! The guard is Co-Ed and requires no previous experience!

Austin eXperience Camp -- Saturday Nov 23rd

Our Austin Camp is designed as an eXperience Camp. Students can come just for the eXperience (no audition, fun and learning) or they can start their path to the 2025 Crossmen by auditioning. This one-day (8:30-5pm) Camp at Westwood High school. The camp being right before Thanksgiving makes it an easy time to come and have some fun!
