A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
Schools have always been safe spaces for students and families. I understand that recent news and policy changes may have raised concerns within our community, including here in Cambrian. Please know that I am committed to keeping our school a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students. You are valued, you belong here, and you are the heart of our community.
Knowing When to Step Back: Sometimes we step back to listen and learn, or to let others take the lead. A good ally listens and observes before acting.
Knowing When to Stand Beside: At times, we stand beside others when they’re afraid to speak up. A good ally shows support, courage, and compassion.
Knowing When to Step Up: We step up when we see unfairness or hear something wrong. A good ally does what's right, even when no one is watching.
I’m here for you. Please reach out if you need support.
Be well,
Amy O'Hehir
Farnham Principal

Know Your Rights
With the incoming presidential administration, the education community in Santa Clara County, including Cambrian School District, affirms its commitment to protecting students and families regardless of their citizenship status. Here are some helpful resources as we navigate this challenging issue:
- The SCCOE has compiled this resource guide to support local education agencies receiving requests for information about what families can do to prepare in case a parent or other family member is detained or deported by immigration agents.
- The State of California has an online immigration resource website.
- Immigrant Resources from the CA Attorney General’s office, available in English and Spanish
Hopefully these resources will help us as we move forward. We are committed to every student and family in the Cambrian School District.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - MEASURE R
We are excited to announce that the next phase of our construction project will begin in February! As part of this phase, fencing will be installed along the walkway in the inner quad around Rooms 10–15, as well as along the backside where the new quad is located.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate these improvements. Please stay tuned for updates on how this may impact gate access and entry/exit procedures. We will share more details as we get closer to the start of construction.
Thank you for your support as we continue to enhance our campus!

Tuesday, May 13th: 7:30-8:30am, Farnham
Cambrian School District is pleased to offer all students complimentary snack at morning recess and lunch meals at lunch recess. Meals will be available for pickup in the cafeteria during scheduled meal periods. Please consider taking advantage of our FREE school meals by clicking here and signing up. It extends your grocery budget, saves time planning and preparing meals, and is comforting and familiar for kids to have school meals. In addition, every meal served is reimbursed by the USDA and funds go toward Child Nutrition staff wages. Please note that you are not taking food away from someone who needs it more – we have plenty to go around!
