World Kindness Day - Fri., Nov. 13th
BASH Impact Club
Submitted by Mrs. Bergeyova, BASH Health and Physical Education Teacher
To celebrate World Kindness Day, the Impact Club at BASH created a Kindness Board outside of their room at 528. The purpose of the kindness board is to spread encouraging messages in the form of Post-It’s. The Impact club invites everyone to take one or more for themselves or to give to their friends or family.
The Impact club students encourage everyone to spread kindness and positivity.
Submitted by Mrs. Kramaroff, NHUF 2nd Grade Teacher
My second grade students made "Take What You Need" posters which we will be putting up around the community. We read the book I AM ONE by Susan Verde and Peter Reynolds and talked about how small acts of kindness are like ripples.

Gianna Martin, Lula Mekonnen, and Piper Zaharchuck, students from Boyertown High School, are leading a team, Light the Fight, to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Dedicated to raising awareness and funds for blood cancer research and patient support, these students are reaching out to the community for support. Recently, they met with Kurt Habecker from Global Advanced Metals, a potential business sponsor, who highlighted the importance of spreading their message. By sharing their story, they aim to inspire others to join their mission of fighting blood cancers. Together, we can make strides toward a cure!
If you know of any businesses or organizations that may be interested in supporting them, please reach out to the team at lightthefight25@gmail.com.
An Oversight:
We would like to apologize to the Foundation for Boyertown Education for an oversight in our promotion of the Veterans Day video featuring the Liberty Warbirds Association. Without the Foundation's generous support, the video would not have been possible. THANK YOU for all you do for the students of BASD!!

Discussion/Information
Welcome to Gilbertsville Elementary!
Mrs. Petri, GES Principal, welcomed the School Board and community members to the meeting and highlighted all of the amazing things happening at GES. In particular, she highlighted their Discovery Table, located in the GES lobby. Each month, the table features a different topic for students to explore, touch, reflect upon, and question.
Board Members were then invited to visit their own Discovery Table, featuring the work being done by GES students throughout the building.
