PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
I am excited to announce the location of this year's mystery trip. REMEMBER - THIS IS STILL A SECRET. We will not tell students until we get on the bus. This trip would not be possible without the support of the Raymus Foundation.
We are taking our students to the Museum of Science and Curiosity in Sacramento. This is a hands on museum with learning labs and a planetarium! Lunch will be hosted by the Curiosity Cafe in the museum.
For our parent volunteers - Please arrive with your student at 8:30. We will meet in the cafeteria to discuss logistics, meals, schedules and support. It is going to be a memorable experience!
Students who are not attending the field trip - There is still school. We have teachers staying behind and we have activities prepared for them. This is still a school day.
Thank you for helping us provide this amazing experience.

Junkyard Masterpieces
New this year is our first-ever art competition, "Junkyard Masterpieces", sponsored by Cal-Waste. Students Pre-K through 12 are invited to create collages and/or sculptures from recycled and reused materials that will be showcased at the festival. All of the information regarding this competition is in the attached flyer and in this folder Art Show Poster & Submission Files.
We are asking teachers to help promote our competition by either making it a class assignment or simply encouraging students to get creative and send in their submissions. Submissions can be either dropped off in person in the Lodi High School Library or sent via district mail to “Lodi High-Library”.
Thank you for all you already do promoting STEAM in your classrooms!
If you have any questions, contact Elizabeth Wright.
