Dear Allenwood Families,

Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you all refreshed and ready for an exciting 2024. As we begin the second half of our school year, we have several important events and updates to share with you.

We invite our first grade students to a special Milk and Cookies event hosted by our amazing PTG on Friday, January 10th, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. It will be a fun-filled evening, and we look forward to seeing many of our first-grade families there!

Allenwood is thrilled to announce the start of our PTG's Read-A-Thon, which will run from January 13th through January 31st. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage a love of reading while supporting our school community. More details will be coming home soon, so stay tuned!

Mark your calendars! Our next PTG meeting will take place on Thursday, January 16th, at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. We encourage all families to attend and get involved in the exciting plans for the months ahead.

Now that the holidays are behind us, we have a critical stretch of school days leading up to Spring Break. These weeks are a key time for focused learning and student progress. Please do your best to ensure that your children are present and on time for school each day. Your partnership is essential in helping our students thrive academically.
