Message from the Principal's Desk
Greetings Titan Families,
Thank you to the 127 individuals who have completed the 2023-2024 FCPS Family Survey for Tuscarora High School! If you have not yet had the opportunity to complete the survey, please do so by Tuesday, November 21 at 11:59 PM when the survey closes. The survey is anonymous, but your responses help us to make improvements at Tuscarora High School. I very much appreciate you taking the time to do so.
Next week we have school on Monday and Tuesday and then a five-day weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving. I am thankful for you and that you share your most precious gifts with us each and every day. Your students bring joy and excitement to each and every day.
Thank you for your continued partnership. I wish you a restful and joyful Thanksgiving break!
Sincerely,
Lisa Smith

MIDDLETOWN HS is the new SAT test center in Frederick County with the closure of GTJHS as a testing site. ETS has responsibility for communicating this change to all registered students. However, their communication for the November test administration was insufficient and confusing.
Electronic test tickets emailed for the December 2nd test administration by ETS indicate that the test center is GTJHS, but students should report to MHS.

FCPS students apply to Early College during their sophomore year of high school.
Interested students MUST attend one information night prior to applying.
At the Information Nights, members of the Dual Enrollment Team will go through the details of the Early College program and acceptance process, and they will answer questions from interested students and families.
Register to attend one of these sessions at tiny.cc/earlycollegenight.
A confirmation email will be sent with further information regarding the location and/or meeting link.
Contact the DE Office at DualEnrollment@frederick.edu, or visit www.frederick.edu/de for more information!
