Dear Bloomingdale Elementary School Community,

As we eagerly await the start of the 2024-2025 school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for the incredible journey that lies ahead. Welcome back, Bears, to a year of innovation, exploration, and growth!

We are Full STEAM Ahead this year as a testament to our continued commitment to excellence in education and our dedication to the principles of STEAM-based learning. Building upon the successes of previous years, we are embarking on a journey to explore the dynamic intersection of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, with a special focus on the transformative power of energy.

As we continue another year in the New Hampstead K8 facility, I am reminded of the resilience and adaptability that defines our Bloomingdale community. While we eagerly anticipate the completion of our new campus, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide an enriching and supportive learning environment for all students.

This year, our goal is not only to educate but to inspire. Through hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and real-world applications, we will empower our students to think critically, solve complex problems, and embrace creativity in all its forms. By nurturing their curiosity and fostering a love of learning, we are preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.

I am incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of our students, parents, teachers, and staff, who continue to make Bloomingdale Elementary a place where every child can succeed. Together, we are charting new horizons and shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.

What We're Raising Funds For: A majority of the funds will go directly towards supporting our students!

• STEAM Programs: Exciting activities including robotics, Legos, and more!
• PAWS for Success: Rewarding students for strong leadership and attendance.
• Student Success Carnival: Making it bigger and better!
• Field Trips: Fun and educational outings for our students.
• Student Organizations: Supporting our chorus, art club, STEAM teams, and more!
• Family Support: Providing school supplies, uniforms, food, and other essentials.
• Fun Rewards and Events: Exciting activities throughout the year.

Supporting Our Amazing Staff:

• Faculty & Staff Wellbeing: 20% of the funds will go towards showing our incredible staff how much we appreciate them all year long.

Supporting Our PTA:

• PTA Events and Membership: At least 10% of the funds will go to the PTA, supporting events like the PTA dance and Trunk or Treat, and ensuring 100% membership of our faculty and staff.
