Here's to a Groovy Year!

We're Beyond Thankful for our Veterans!

The Veterans Day Parade at Ward Central was an unforgettable celebration of patriotism and gratitude! Students, staff, and families gathered to honor our incredible veterans, with a procession that snaked through the halls and along part of the track. Willow, our beloved Educational Assistance Dog, even made a small appearance, donning a patriotic red shirt and spreading joy to all. The whole school community came together in unity, holding signs and cheering for the heroes who have served our nation with courage and dedication. The parade was capped off with a special breakfast for our veterans and their families. It was a day filled with pride, reflection, and appreciation for the sacrifices that ensure our freedom.

The Glow of Life Fills the Halls

Ward Central is thrilled to announce the generous gift of a state-of-the-art hydroponics tower from Representative Brian and Missy Evans! This incredible addition to our school will provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn about sustainable agriculture, plant growth, and innovative farming techniques. The tower will serve as a living classroom, sparking curiosity and fostering a deeper understanding of science and environmental stewardship. We are so grateful to Representative Evans and Missy for their dedication to education and their commitment to nurturing the next generation of learners!

Indoor recess happens when weather conditions or safety concerns prevent outdoor play. During this time, students enjoy activities like board games, creative projects, and interactive games in a safe, engaging environment.

Car-Rider Drop Off

Thank you to EVERYONE for helping us adjust to the new car-rider drop off procedure. We really can't express how grateful we all are for your patience and adaptability as we adjusted how the car rider line operates to enhance student safety. The first day may not have been super smooth or problem free, but after reflecting on the issues we were able to make small changes to make it run so much smoother.
