Exact Path Information

Hello Team,

Welcome to Exact Path. This is a wonderful resource that the state has provided us. Thank you for being patient with us while rostering issues were corrected. Exact Path is ready to go! We assigned the math, reading, and language arts Exact Path diagnostic assessments to all students last week, but teachers will need to assign the diagnostic assessment to any new student who is rostered to their class. See below for additional information that will help you, your teachers, and your students.

Exact Path is for all students in Kindergarten-12th grades.

Exact Path is a personalized learning platform that is meant to supplement Tier I instruction. Teachers WILL assign Exact Path learning that best supports their classroom academic schedules for asynchronous learning.

Ensure all of your teachers have taken the Exact Path Canvas Course. This course will guide your teachers through all stages of Exact Path. This is crucial to the student's individual development.

Getting Started in Exact Path is the first activity for teachers in this course. This will guide them through administering the diagnostic assessments and understanding where students are to best support them on their personalized learning path. Also, most questions can be answered by the content in this video, the 4 Week Implementation Guide and Learning and Support Page.

Here is a resource you can share with students on how to log into Exact Path from Clever.

Don't forget to provide students with Accommodations and Modifications to meet all IEP, 504, and ELAP documents. Students can receive text-to-speech on math and language arts diagnostic assessments.

Each assessment is around 30-40 minutes for students to complete. For our youngest learners, you can break the assessment into two parts. It will save their progress; just have them log back in and finish the assessment.

We want all students to take the embedded diagnostic assessment. This will provide classroom data as well as individual student data in order to help student growth. If you have a student whose START DATE/END time and COMPLETION DATE/END time (see screenshot below) are the same, this means a grade-level learning path was manually created for that student, and you need to re-assign the diagnostic assessments. In order for students' learning paths to be personalized, they must take the diagnostic assessments.
