Principal Message
Happy October!
We are off to a great start at HomeLink! We had an awesome turnout for our PTO Back to School Open House last week! I would like to thank everyone who contributed for our first event of the school year. If you are interested in supporting our PTO and assisting with our events this year, please make sure to reach out to our PTO on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/mustangconnectionhomelink/.
It has been great seeing all of our parents volunteering on campus! We appreciate your support of HomeLink and encourage you to continue volunteering on campus.
A Few Updates:
School Calendar and Events: Our school calendar on our website has been updated to reflect the majority of our events for the year: https://threerivershomelink.rsd.edu/calendar. Please take a look at the calendar for the year to make sure you are aware of the important dates and events thru June.
Family Handbook: Each year we encourage our families to review the Family Handbook posted on our website. The Family Handbook has important information about HomeLink as well as school and district policies. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OaFZRf_zsPaRgMeCDeQTRIkZhgeuWc3kbjDLkuRm7Bs/edit?usp=sharing
I hope all of you are enjoying your time at HomeLink and I look forward to seeing you around!

Attached are two different set of activities to print off and explore with your student. Also, check out the Washington State Governor’s office of Education Ombuds site which has projects, teaching resources, and lesson plans to explore!

Account Balances
Each student registered in the Richland School District has a lunch account. The balance is at zero until money is added to it. Money can be added to each account three ways: online by setting up an account with the students ID number at Mymealtime.com, by check or cash brought to school. If paying by cash with larger amounts the remainder will be deposited to the students account.
Free and Reduced Lunches
The 2024-25 application for free or reduced-price meals is now available online. To apply, go to mymealtime.com/apps. You will need your student's 8-digit ID number for the online application.
Last year's applications are expired as of October 12th. If your student received free or reduced-price meals last year, you need to submit a new application. The form can also be found online at RSD.edu under the Nutrition Services tab.

We can now combine students onto one family account. Please email Crystal.Gjerdevig@rsd.edu if you would like them combined.
