Exciting Week!
Dear Parkwood School Family,
We hope this message finds you well! We are thrilled to share some exciting events happening this week and next at Parkwood Upjohn.

Upcoming Events
Hearing and Vision Screening
- This week and next week, we will be conducting hearing and vision screenings for our students. This is organized by our wonderful Community In Schools Facilitator.
- Feel free to email geikenperezmc@kalamazoopublicschools.net if you have any questions.
Half Day Reminder
- Don't forget! This Wednesday, December 11th, is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 12:06 pm. Our dedicated staff will be participating in Professional Development in the afternoon.
- Get ready for our monthly Popcorn Friday on December 13th! Popcorn will be available for just 50 cents a bag. Any extra funds raised will go towards purchasing popcorn for all students, replenishing supplies, or buying additional student incentives. A huge thank you to our generous businesses and community members who have donated popcorn!
Winter Gear and Clothing Donations
- We are in need of winter gear and clothing donations! If you have any winter items or clothes your child has outgrown, please consider donating them to Parkwood Upjohn. Students often need extra gloves, socks, and snow pants. While we receive some donations from outside sources, we could use more, especially for our older students or these specific clothing items.
Book Fair Announcement
- We are excited to announce our first book fair in 5 years! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore new books and develop a love for reading. More information about the book fair shared below.
---
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to an exciting week ahead!
With Appreciation,
Principal Rosecrans
