The QMS Parent Advisory Council (a.k.a. the PAC) is the volunteer led, parent organization at QMS. We work in partnership with the teachers and administration to support all students at QMS.

Fundraising enables us to support our students and teachers by providing the funds for important items such as:

• Student Clubs - afterschool clubs like model building and role playing

• Student Activities - 8th grade banquet, subsidies for 7th grade field trip, school-wide dance

• Student Recognition - Buzz bucks, gift cards

• Speaker Series - presentations on important topics

• Flexible Seating Options - bouncy bands, standing desks, padded stadium chairs for hallway reading time

• Technology - Smartboards and TV monitors in the foyer to display daily information to our students & teachers

• Staff Appreciation - annual staff appreciation events

Last year was one of the most successful fundraising year for PAC in recent PAC history. We attribute that success to those of you who participated in our fundraisers and made contributions towards the Unfundraiser. Everything that PAC does is contingent upon volunteer commitment and the funds we are able to raise. This year, our fundraising goal is $25,000 and we have raised $1,180 so far.

You can support PAC by participating in our current fundraisers (details below) and volunteering. Whether you've got an hour a week or an hour a year, your time will be well spend securing the funding necessary to maintain the existing programs and potentially fund new endeavors. October 14th 11:00 am - 9:00 pm at ANY Bertucci's location! Stop by any Bertucci's location or order online using code "FUNDRAISER". Bertucci's will donate a set percentage of the sales to QMS PAC. These fundraisers are a win-win! You, your friends, family, and other PAC supporters get a chance to enjoy a delicious meal while raising funds for our students.

• Hand-crafted pies from Lyman Orchards are for sale, along with lots of other products like Popcorn, Beef Jerky, Coffee, and Cookies. Proceeds from the sale will go to QMS PAC to support our students.

• Use the QR code to login in and create a personalized dashboard. You will need to create a password and your email will be your user ID. All orders & payments will be done online. However, paper forms are available upon request.

• Once your dashboard is created, invite friends and family to purchase pies and other items from the webstore. You can invite people using the “invite buyers” link on the left hand side of the dashboard screen. Share your link via email or text with your friends and family.

• Pick Up for FROZEN Pies will be held on November 26th from 4-7 pm in the QMS Lobby. Arrangement can be made for pick up alternative dates by emailing qms.pac@gmail.com all other items (popcorn, tumblers, cookies, etc) will be delivered directly to the buyers address. ONLY FROZEN PIES WILL BE PICKED UP AT QMS.

Join PAC November 23rd for our 2nd Annual Fall Frolic - an 18+ Comedy Fundraiser! Tickets are limited and are available for purchase now! This event is expected to sell out ~ get your tickets today! Dislike having to sell “stuff” to raise funds for an organization? Well, so do we!

In lieu of tasking students and parents with selling typical fundraising items, PAC is pleased to offer a tax deductible option to take the hassle out of fundraising. Your participation is completely voluntary and very much appreciated! You can simply make a donation via Venmo, PayPal, or check!

Your donations will enable us to support our students and teachers by providing the funds for enrichment, technology, flexible seating, speaker events and so much more. Our goal is to raise $15,000 this year. This will put us in a terrific position to support all of our ongoing student activities and provide an opportunity to see what new initiatives we can help with.

The QMS PAC Executive Board is comprised of parent volunteers elected through an annual nominating process. The PAC is governed in accordance to its by-laws, which are reviewed every three years or more frequently as needed. The Board has oversight for all fundraising initiatives, events, communications, volunteer development, governance, and allocation of funds and grant awards. Current Executive Board members:
