Dear Parents,

This is the time of year when we all pitch in as a team to run our campus-wide fundraiser. We are looking forward to making this fundraiser a huge hit!

The money we raise this year will help us cover the cost of the remaining events such as our Spelling Bee, STAAR shirts, End-of-the-Year field day, and Teacher Appreciation. Every penny... every dollar… we raise is important and will go to benefit our students! In order to reach our goal, we need each and everyone’s help to make this happen and sell a minimum of 1 box= 60 bars.

Here’s the Plan!

• January 27th: Kick-off date-We will send the letter home with your child/children giving your consent.
• January 31st: Consent submitted.
• February 4th: March 4th: Selling dates-Sell-Sell-Sell! We would like your child to sell a minimum of one box.
• March 4th: Turn in date-Please make sure your or your child turns in all money collected by this date. Any delay can affect the announcing of the winners.

Safety first: If you choose to do door-to-door sales, children must be accompanied by an adult.

William Marsh Rice University, commonly known as Rice University, is a private research university in Houston, Texas. The university is situated on a 300-acre (121 ha) campus near the Houston Museum District and is adjacent to the Texas Medical Center.

Opened in 1912 after the murder of its namesake William Marsh Rice, Rice is now a research university with an undergraduate focus.
