December to Remember Holiday Spirit
December is truly the most magical month of the year at Acton Elementary! One of the things that make it extra fun are dress up days! While participation in these dress up days is 100% optional, it is 100% FUN! Join us in celebrating this holiday season!
All AES visitors will be required to scan a valid Driver's License and obtain a personalized visitor's sticker before entering the building. If you've scanned your driver's license at AES before, please complete the google form below to bypass waiting in line. If you have not, come by any day before 2:00 PM to do so. All individuals that have scanned their driver's license and completed the fast pass by noon, one business day prior to the event, will have a pre-printed sticker ready for them upon arrival.

Christmas Candy Cane Grams
Student Council is hosting a fundraiser to support their upcoming service projects! Students can send a personalized note and mini candy cane to a classmate or teacher for $1 each. Fill out as many grams as you’d like and send this form back to your homeroom teacher with money attached (stapled if possible) by Wednesday December 18th! Student Council will cut them out and deliver them to classrooms on December 20th to be passed out during class parties.
Contact Ms. Briggs at haley.briggs@granburyisd.org if you have questions!
Capturing Kids' Hearts Middle of Year Survey
Our character trait for December is RESPONSIBILITY! At school we are learning that: Responsibility is the willingness and ability to take ownership of our thoughts, words, and actions. We have a responsibility to our school, family, and community to be accountable for our choices and how they impact ourselves and others.
Please read the December Parent Newsletter for great ideas to help reinforce this important skill at home!
