We are SO grateful to have Ms. Catherine Davis in our CCS family! Those of us who have the opportunity to work with Ms. Davis on a regular basis knows that she continually goes above and beyond for staff, students, and their families. You will find Ms. Davis in the gym shooting baskets with our students, counseling students in her office, finding resources for families, and connecting with all students and staff members. CCS is extremely lucky to have such a valuable, knowledgeable, and caring individual as our school social worker!

Thanks to all who participated in the walk and donated a dollar for towards heart health. We will be sending a donation for $25 to the American Heart Association.

Information will be shared with staff and students about healthy food choices and an emphasis on healthy food will be discussed in PE classes. There is no scheduled walk this month. However, staff will be participating in a March Madness free throw competition!

We are excited to announce the release of the podcast featuring Connor P.! The podcast group asked Connor and his parents, Benjie and Kathleen Porecki, questions about Connor's use of technology to tell the world his thoughts!

It also features the students who are enrolled in the Podcast class - Brenden, Joy, and Ashleigh and the staff who are supporting the group - Mrs. Prorock, Ms. Fick, Ms. Chase, and Mrs. McShea! We are also lucky to be supported by Ms. Stacy Allen, former AT Specialist, at the Twin Beaches library!

If you listen closely, you'll hear Connor joking, "What the pumpkin?" throughout the podcast!

The Board of Education recognized employees with 20 plus years of service in a ceremony held at Huntingtown High on Feb. 27th.
