Weekly Good News

Mrs. Santana's and Ms. VanderGeld's 4th grade classes got together on Friday, January 10th for a team building activity.

The two classes were mixed into smaller groups where each group had to answer a series of problems to crack the code. Each code then gave them clues to solve a crime. There were 4 stages and at the end they played a Minute to Win It game in order to guess who committed the crime.

Everyone had a lot of fun working together on this mystery problem!

On Monday, January 13th, students from Ms. Hurni's classroom led the Pledge of Allegiance during the board meeting.

Students in Mrs. Licari's classroom spent the week focusing on the French, the fur trade, and historic forts in their social studies curriculum. Students even had the chance to build their own fort and trade routes.

This week high school counselors and administration hosted the annual Freshman Parent Night: Navigating High School, where information was presented about graduation requirements, scheduling, and the personal/social aspects of high school. A raffle was also held at the end of the evening for three $25 gift certificates to the Catz Corner (WUHS school store). Congratulations to these 3 lucky future freshmen!
