In the event that extreme weather conditions occur, Dr. Valentine will make the decision to cancel school and send a Blackboard Message. School closings will also be announced on our school website www.logrog.net and on local television stations.

The LR School District has 36 hours of inclement weather make-up days scheduled in the calendar by utilizing 6 remote learning days (AMI) and 2 snow days. The determination of AMI or snow day will be announced with the school closing.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow....

Snow Routes are school bus routes that have been altered to avoid potentially hazardous hills, intersections, turn-around locations, and less ideal conditions at bus stops due to inclement weather. In the event we call for snow routes, we would ask that all students be taken to the designated snow route stop for your school bus where the bus will wait for several minutes. Please plan to arrive on time to meet the bus during the morning and afternoon snow route. In the event the road conditions improve for the afternoon route, another parent alert notification will be sent notifying you the buses will be dropping off at each home for the afternoon route. Otherwise, plan on snow routes in the afternoon. We encourage you to continue to call your child's school bus driver directly to notify them of any concern associated with the bus stop in all weather conditions.

2-Hour Delayed Start Option: On the rare occasion that weather conditions merit a 2-hour delayed start, the district will announce it via Blackboard and the local television stations. Please listen closely to your Blackboard messages.

Thank you to all the students who entered the Poster Contest! We had a record number of entries this year. During Red Ribbon Week LRUE held a poster contest for anti -drug message posters.

The Upper Elementary will have a "Giving Tree" located outside the front office. Please help us decorate under the tree with hygiene items. All items will go to the Wildcat Closet.

We raised $3829.18 for Care to Learn in November. Thank you for supporting families in Rogersville. Our Students prove we do Our Best...and Nothing Less this month by showing honesty, accountability, and putting first things first.
