Noon Message to Families
October 28, 2024
Cedar Hill ISD Families & Community,
Freedom.
It’s what we cherish as citizens, friends, family, classmates and colleagues.
An important part of freedom is understanding the importance of our right to vote. And not only to vote, but to be informed of the choices we make and how they’ll impact ourselves and our fellow citizens.
We have that opportunity this week during Early Voting. Those who took the important step to become registered voters can cast their vote at any Dallas County polling location through 7 p.m. Friday. Available polling locations are listed on the Dallas County website for Early Voting and Election Day Voting
Early voting takes place from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. through Friday.
On Election Day (Tuesday, November 5), the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The U.S. Presidential Election is what drives voters to the polls every four years, but we must also remember to study and cast votes for other important elected offices – such as U.S. Senator, Congress, Judges, Constables and more.
I highly encourage you to fulfill this opportunity to make your voice heard.
Sincerely,
Dr. Gerald B. Hudson
Superintendent
