CES- Principal Message

Parents,

I wish all our families a safe and restful Memorial Day weekend. As we enjoy a little extra time with loved ones, we also pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We do not have school tomorrow, but we will see tracks 1, 3, and 4 on Tuesday.

This Thursday is the last day of school for our amazing Track 1 students! Congratulations on a fantastic year—you’ve earned a fun and relaxing break! We can’t wait to see our returning students back at Carpenter in a few weeks. And to those heading to a new school or starting middle school, we’re so proud of you! We’ll miss you and hope you carry wonderful memories of Carpenter with you on your next adventure.

Thank you to so many of our Carpenter families who came out to our Annual Teacher Ice Cream Eating Contest and Social. It was a great success, and Mr. Spirakus- the defending champion won again. Thank you to Mr. Spirakus, Ms. Coffey, Ms. Hanlon, Ms. Geiszler, and Ms. Lunsford for participating in the contest! They all did a fantastically messy job! And, thank you to the PTA for putting on a super fun night for our families!

On Friday afternoon, our 5th graders (tracks 1,3, & 4) were able to see their individual picket fence that is now on display near Camp Chameleon and have a popsicle thanks to the PTA! Each 5th grader painted a picket fence this year in Art class and will be a part of Carpenter for years to come.

Join us for our "Meet the Teacher" drop-in event! This is an opportunity for parents and students to bring in school supplies, visit their new classroom, and connect with their teacher. There will be no formal presentation, so feel free to stop by anytime during the designated hour.

July 1st 5:00-6:00: Meet the Teacher for Tracks 1-3 (Grades 1-5)

July 7th: First Day of School for Tracks 1-3

July 24th 5:00-6:00: Meet the Teacher for Track 4 (Grades 1-5)
