Dear Parents and Carers,
This week, our children in Years 3, 4 and 5 had a fabulous experience when they all went to Go Ape in Temple Newsome, Leeds. It was great to see how they conquered fears and were able to put teamwork and collaboration into practise. Well done everyone! Thank you to all our kind parent volunteers who went along to help and had a wonderful day.

Year 5 GALS (Girls Active Leadership Squad)
On Thursday afternoon, our Year 5 GALS (Girls Active Leadership Squad) also conquered their nerves and delivered a presentation to an audience in the large theatre hall at our PAT Secondary School Carleton High. The presentation was thorough and very thought provoking; it reflected their year as sports leaders and how they have raised the profile of females in sport in our school and across our local region.
To top the event off, the girls met Danielle Brown, a double Paralympic Gold Medallist in Archery. It was very inspiring to listen to Danielle’s career journey and served to motivate the girls further in their quest to get other females involved in sports.
Monday 3rd July – Summer Fair
We want to thank everyone for their kind donations we received for the Tombola today, and a big thank you to the parents who have kindly labelled all of the prizes up.
Please do come along and support us on the day. Gates will be open from 1.45PM. All children must be picked up directly from classroom doors.
