Did You Know?
Don’t forget that Tuesday, November 2 is election day!
Issue 68, the renewal levy for Strongsville City Schools, is on the ballot. This is a renewal levy which means no new taxes and the opportunity to provide financial stability for our District for at least the next five years. Strong school districts don’t happen by themselves. It takes strong support from the community, including engaged partnerships with families and local businesses, to become the very best for our students. We are grateful for our community’s past support and hope that our current efforts have earned your continued trust. CLICK HERE for a video message about Issue 68 from SCS Superintendent Dr. Cameron Ryba.
60 Seconds with the Superintendent

Through many volunteer hours and passionate dedication, our PTA Council and the individual PTA units for each school are an important part of the SCS community. MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MRS. ALANA BENDETTA, FRENCH TEACHER AT STRONGSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Mrs. Alana Bendetta is in her 12th year at Strongsville High School. Mrs. Bendetta teaches French and is also the World Language Department Chair for SHS. She is a lifelong resident of Strongsville - she graduated from Strongsville High School (Class of 2005), received her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron, and also earned her graduate degree from Baldwin Wallace.
“For as long as I can remember, being a French Teacher at Strongsville High School was my dream. Being able to teach with teachers who inspired me to become a teacher is an added bonus. I am truly so happy to be teaching my passion to others and hopefully inspiring students to continue their learning outside of the classroom,” said Mrs. Bendetta
“Above all, I love making genuine connections with my students. I believe that mutual respect and trust is essential in creating a positive classroom environment and I love how students come in happy, open, and willing to try new things. Their curiosity and overall kindness can turn any bad day into a good one.”
Thank you Mrs. Bendetta for bringing world languages to life at Strongsville High School! #WeAreStrongsville
