Dear families:
Although West Irondequoit CSD does not qualify to host a summer meals program, our students may receive food at other local schools as part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food program. We've partnered with nearby districts that are able to provide FREE SUMMER MEALS for children 18 and under. ID and registration is not necessary and there are no income requirements.

2024-25 FREE-AND-REDUCED
Currently, we are approved for the Community Eligibility Provision, which allows free breakfast and lunch to all students regardless of income. We will not know if we will be approved for the 2024-25 school year until this summer. As a result, we suggest that all families who think they might be eligible fill out the Free-and-Reduced Application that will be available to families in July 2024. Once the application is available, we will notify families.
If you submitted an application in 2023-24 and were approved, your child will receive benefits through October 18, 2024. A new application must be submitted and approved to receive benefits after that. The 2024-25 Free-and-Reduced Meal Application will be available this summer on the district website under Food Services and will also be in the annual “Back to School” edition of The Quote newsletter mailed to all families (and online).
