Monday Notes - 3/10/25

Whether you’re enjoying of a well-earned spring break or eagerly counting down the days until yours begins, we hope this season brings you some well-deserved rest and rejuvenation! As we move through the month, here are a few important reminders to keep in mind.

Mark your calendars and watch for more information about the NMMEA Summer General Music Workshop to be held on June 21st. The workshop will feature headliner Lisa Odom and be held in the Albuquerque Metro area. Watch for registration information!

District officers, don't forget to send all MPA results to Neil Swapp immediately after your event. The score reporting document can be found here.

It is time to register for the 2nd Annual State Marching Contest to be held on October 25th. Remember that schools can register for comments only or to be entered into the competition class. Registrations received prior to May 1 will be entered into a drawing for performance order - so don't procrastinate!

• Concert All-State and In-Service Conference - January 14-17, 2026 (UNM)
• Jazz All-State - January 22-24, 2026 (ENMU)
• Please note that Jazz All-State will be Thursday afternoon through Saturday.
