iReady Diagnostic Results Available
Families can now view their child's iReady diagnostic report through the student's Classlink account. This report allows you to see your child’s Diagnostic results digitally directly on their i-Ready dashboard. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your child’s Classlink account on your device or their FCS provided device.
- Click the i-Ready icon (pictured here).
- Click on "For Families" in the top right-hand corner.
- Click "For Families Report".
- Select your preferred language.
- Enter our year-long district report code: 1TT7PS
- You may need to "allow pop-ups" in order to view. Both Math and Reading reports are available.
Individual Remote Learning Days
Did you know that all FCS Students are given five (5) individual Remote Learning Days per semester? These days can be used for any reason when your student needs to miss school and will NOT be counted as an absence on your student’s attendance record. Also, using Remote Days when your student needs to be absent helps our school because it improves our attendance records. Absences, even excused absences, affect funding and scoring for RCMS.
These days can be broken down into hours if you need to check your student out for a doctor’s appointment or part of the day.
If your student will be out for the entire day(s): Email 1) all teachers; 2) Principal Garrett (garrettT1@fultonschools.org); and 3) Ms. Price (pricem@fultonschools.org).
If your student will be out for part of the day:
Email 1) teachers whose class your child will miss; 2) Principal Garrett (garrettT1@fultonschools.org); and 3) Ms. Price (pricem@fultonschools.org)
Parent/Guardian Access to Canvas
Some of our classrooms use Canvas for assignments. Parents and Guardians can set up a "Parent Observer" account and pair it with their student's account in order to stay connected to their child's learning journey, access their child's assignments, grades, and course materials all in one place . Canvas has a convenient App available for the Observer accounts as well. Detailed steps to help you set up your account are linked below. Instructions are available in multiple languages.
Curriculum Night: September 12th, 5:30 pm
