IGNITE 3:16 is a free club for 3rd-5th grade elementary students hosted by Church on Main in Snellville, GA. Trained volunteers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes or anywhere children can easily and safely meet with their parent or guardian's permission.
Each week children enjoy elements like Gospel time, a Bible story, songs, memory games, as well as other activities focused on the lesson's theme.
Every club includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. IGNITE 3:16 understands the importance of and encourages daily prayer time, family involvement, and strong peer to peer relationships.
This club begins on September 10th from 2:45pm-4:15pm and ends Tuesday, March 25th. Register your child here!
SEL Newsletter: Respect
This month, we focus on Respect! Take a look at our Respect newsletter here.
This month’s focus is Respect. One way to think about Respect is “seeing value in all people and things & treating them with care.” Many people feel Respected in different ways and we hope this month inspires discussions with your family about what Respect means to you and how you can practice it together!
Complete Your Free or Reduced Lunch Application!
If you have not completed your Free or Reduced Lunch Application, you can do that here. Students much reapply each year in order to receive reduced lunch prices.
Start a helpful conversation with your child's teacher.
Communication and cooperation between families and schools is vital for student success. Making contact with your child's teachers early on sets the stage for positive teamwork the rest of the year. Share important information about your child and your family now, and learn about the teacher's priorities. Working together can help you both avoid misunderstandings and do your best for your child. Learn more here!
