FJVD Weekly Info
We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Another great week at Father Doyle School leading up to our Annual Auction tomorrow evening at the Quonset O Club! See below for more details; however, a reminder that bidding is currently live online for ALL silent auction items (see the link here: bit.ly/fjvdauction25) and you can still join us LIVE via Facebook at 7:15pm tomorrow night to enjoy the Saints John and Paul ChurchHill Downs Band!
In our prayer service readings from this morning, we were reminded that "true disciples don't just talk about faith; they live it." What a powerful message and one that I see play out daily here at Father Doyle.
Just this afternoon I encountered four students in the hallway praying the rosary together. When I inquired about it, I learned that these students had completed their work and, having been provided some brief free time chose to pray the rosary together. They didn't just talk about it, they lived it.
Please see below for additional information regarding:
- Mint Julep Mingle - Silent Auction is LIVE online now, event tomorrow evening!
- Read-a-thon coming soon!
