YouTube Tricks
Do you remember the trick to remove ads from youtube videos by adding a "-" after the "t" in youtube.com? Well, here is another hack. You can remove ads and other distractions by typing "_popup" after the word "watch" in the URL. So "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeW1eV7Oc5A" would become "https://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=WeW1eV7Oc5A"
Also, you can remove ads by simply adding a period after youtube.com. Like this "https://www.youtube.com./watch?v=8-dQdASWkDU"
Want to add a formative assessment to a youtube video? Well, now you can add interactive questions to youtube video AND track student data! This is what apps like Edpuzzle offered, but now it is a part of our Google Classroom.
