Principal's Weekly Update
October 14th-18th
Dear Families,
Our Oktoberfest was a huge success and we had a fantastic turn out. Thank you to all who donated or attended the event. I want to say a very big thank you to the School Life Committee for the many hours of work they put into making this event a success. We are still finalizing everything, but I will share the amount raised as soon as we know.
We were also happy to have a great turn out for parent/teacher conferences this week. Please do not hesitate to reach out to teachers to continue building the partnership between school and home.
On October 20th, the visiting team from NEASC will be arriving for our Program Visit. This is the final stage of our decennial re-accreditation process. A team of five administrators and teachers will be with us until the 23rd learning more about our school and reviewing our self-study. You will see our visitors at drop-off and dismissal and they will be visiting classrooms and speaking with our school advisory board, faculty, staff, and students.
Lastly, CYO and Futsal season are just around the corner. CYO is still looking for some volunteer coaches. These programs are so important to the development of our students, but are only possible through the generosity of volunteers. Please consider volunteering your time.
Sincerely,
Megan dos Santos
Principal
