Seckinger High School PTSA By-law Update:
Membership Fee Increase
As of July 1, 2025, Georgia PTA and National PTA will be increasing their fees from $3.75 to $5.10. With this change, SKG PTSA will also need to increase its fees for membership. Starting in Fall 2025, we are proposing an amendment to our by-laws that will increase our membership fee from its current $10 to $12. The proposed change in language for the by-law is shown below. This is to serve our 30-day notification of any by-law proposed changes and we will be voting on this change during our next SKG PTSA General Session meeting via Zoom on April 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
Article V: Membership and Dues
Section 7
Current Language:
"Each member of this local PTA/PTSA shall pay annual dues of $10 to said association. The amount of such annual dues shall include the portion payable to the Georgia PTA and the portion payable to the National PTA."
Proposed Language:
"Each member of this local PTA/PTSA shall pay annual dues of $12 to said association. The amount of such annual dues shall include the portion payable to the Georgia PTA and the portion payable to the National PTA"
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we look forward to meeting with you at our next general session.
