Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Enjoy the moment...
Good morning!
Holy weather and Happy Sunday! I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend with the beautiful weather! I have a feeling that we will be paying for this eventually but heck, we might as well enjoy it while we have it!
This week's quote goes to the power of choice! Every morning, we have the power of choice. We can choose to set our mind to the thought process that it is going to be a great day or we can set it up where we believe today is going to be a disaster. Honestly, there is not much in between. Studies show that a morning starting with positivity is good for health, mental wellness, and overall attitude on the day. Are there going to be challenges ahead? ABSOLUTELY! We are in the roller coaster of life but that is what also makes it a great ride.
I'm not saying to be toxic positive but I am saying to find the silver lining in the day. There may be an assignment due, a test upcoming, a deadline to meet, a family to provide for, etc....but within all of those is the opportunity to grow, to give, and to become better. The positive mindset pushes us from a "have to" attitude to a "GET TO" attitude. Let's make this week our best one yet!
This weeks challenge: who have you called or text lately and told them you appreciate and/or love them?
Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Moring is an important time of day, because how you spend your morning can often tell you what kind of day you are going to have."
Lemony Snicket
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
