HEAT ADVISORY
The heat advisory for Monday and Tuesday are still in effect. Please make sure your student comes to school prepared. Please see previously shared information below. Cooling Centers information can be found HERE

Temperature prediction (high): 105°F & 94°F
Heat Risk Value: #3 Major RED
In order to keep all students and staff safe please remember the following items over the next few days:
Please encourage all to drink plenty of fluids.
Classroom and office location doors will remain closed in order to conserve air-conditioned air within all buildings and classrooms on campus.
We will be on a modified schedule to ensure students are not outside in the direct heat/sun. Our regular school day will still end at 3:10pm. All students will have access to air-conditioned spaces on campus during our recess/lunchtimes.
Please send your student(s) with cold water and make sure your student(s) wear loose, lightweight and light-colored clothing.
We will monitor students and staff throughout the school day to ensure we respond in a timely manner to individuals that may be negatively affected by the extreme heat and conditions over the next few days.

NEW Level I Volunteer Mandatory Meeting
NEW Level I Volunteers-If you are interested in volunteering in your child's classroom, attending a field trip for the school year or generally helping our school community during major events and festivals please join us for our Mandatory New Level I Volunteer Meeting/Training on Friday, September 13th either at 9:15am or 2pm in the MPR. Interested individuals that would like to join us please sign up HERE so we can send you supporting documentation that you will need to complete to start the process.
RETURNING Level I/Level II & Room Parents- we will host your mandatory meeting at the end of September/October. You do not need to attend the new orientation this coming Friday.
Room Parents- Your homeroom teacher should have reached out to you to attend a 15 minute meeting scheduled over the next 3 weeks. If you have not heard from your homeroom teacher please contact them directly to coordinate your calendars.
Back to School RECAP
What a great start to the school year as we welcomed over 300 families to our 2024-2025 Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 28th. If we missed you please refer to your homeroom teacher's link below and our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conference day will occur on Friday, October 18th. See you soon!

REMINDERS:
Reminder #1:
The front semi-circle drive is for carline drop-off and pick-up only. This area will not have adult supervision or volunteers in the morning for drop-off. The east side TK/Kinder Gate is for walking students only. The parking lot on the east side of our campus is for teachers/staff only. Please refer to the map of the area HERE.
DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR IN THE DESIGNATED CARLINE IN THE SEMI-CIRCLE AND THEN PROCEED TO LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN ORDER TO DROP OFF OR PICK UP YOUR STUDENT(S) FROM SCHOOL. THIS IS A DRIVE THROUGH NOT A PARKING LOCATION. THANK YOU!
Reminder #2:
Doors/gates will open at 8:25am and all students should report to the multi-purpose room (MPR)/cafeteria and surrounding areas until 8:35am. The first bell is at 8:40am and the final bell is at 8:45am.
At 8:45am (final bell) all teachers will have their students line up on their respective playgrounds.
NEW: Please let us know if we offered extended care from 8am-8:25am if you would take advantage of this drop off period HERE
Reminder #3:
Simple Dismissal numbers have been issued to a majority of our students on campus.
Great job TK/Kinder/New Students at Field! You will now remain in your classrooms to wait to be dismissed based on whether you should report to the carline or TK/Kinder walking gate. Parents that have not picked up your child's Simple Dismissal number please report to the front office (sibling sets) to retrieve your number. TK/Kinder parents please see your child's homeroom teacher for your Simple Dismissal number.
Carline Pick-up (Front Semi-Circle)- Please place your parent number placard in the right passenger window for pick-up.
Walkers (TK/Kinder Gate)- Please have your parent number for pick up as you request your child after school.
Independent walkers- Please complete this form HERE in order to designate your child as an independent walker for the school year.
Afterschool Programming- Students will be released by their teacher based on completion of this form HERE.
