Appleton Echo
Spring Term 1 Week 3
A word from Mr Broom
It's the end of another busy week as the Spring Term learning journeys get into full swing. It was a pleasure touring school this morning to see all the wonderful examples of learning being shared on a variety of displays. Our learning journeys are now live on the school website https://www.appletonroebuck.net/curriculum/curriculum-documentation/our-learning-journeys
Meanwhile, Mrs Kirkpatrick, our writing lead, attended the STARMAT writing network to focus on the next stage of the writing progression work. Teachers will be receiving this training over the coming weeks and we've staff from across the Trust coming to see our writing strengths at Appleton.
Next week, we've KS1 children out at an athletics event on Monday and we host the STARMAT Deputy Heads for their network meeting on Tuesday. Loads of visitors, who I'm sure will leave impressed.
Have a super weekend everyone.

Outside School Activities
We are a 'Nut Free' School
A polite reminder that we have children in school who have severe nut allergies. Please ensure that you do not bring nuts on to the school site or include them in packed lunches.
Thank you for your support with this.
