Welcome Back to Washington Square!
Helpful Reminders
Know the Bell and Bus Schedules
For your convenience, please take a look at our Bell Schedule and Bus Schedules for the 24-25 school year. Please note the different arrival and departure times on Wednesdays.
Attendance
It is important for students to attend class each day. Some classes require a specific number of contact hours to earn industry certifications and concurrent enrollment credit. If a student does need to miss a class, a parent or guardian must call Washington Square in addition to a student's home high school to excuse the absence.
Please call (720) 972-2900 and select option 1 to leave a message on the attendance line.
Please review Adams12 Attendance Policies for more information.
Fees
Fees can be paid with a credit card via PayForIt.net or by calling the Washington Square bookkeeper at (720) 972-2905. Fees will be posted to students' accounts in September or October. Students and their parents may also bring cash or a check to the main office. Please make checks payable to Washington Square, and include the student’s name and ID number.
Families who qualify for free or reduced benefits must reapply every year. Submitting this application may also waive some of your student’s required fees. Submit your application online at Adams 12 Five Star Schools.
Parking Permits
Those driving to Washington Square this year must have a parking permit. In order to get a parking permit for Washington Square, students must do the following:
- Complete the Washington Square parking permit application (google form) by scanning the QR code posted around the school and in many classrooms.
- Bring your vehicle's registration and driver's license to the main office at Washington Square.
- Pay the parking fee at Washington Square, on PayForIt.net, or at your home high school. The cost is:
- $50 for home high school and Washington Square parking permit
- $25 for Washington Square only

Let's Hear From the Students
Why did you come back to Washington Square this year?
According to: Jasmine (Law) , Julie (formerly Firefighting, currently Diesel) & Malia (Firefighting) as pictured left to right.
All three of these young ladies had nothing but good things to say about the teachers who taught them last year.
"You can tell our teachers genuinely care about making a connection with each student."
Washington Square is...
"Washington Square is ... a great opportunity to get hands-on experience to see if the program you're taking is something you would want to do for a living." - Nick (left, Diesel)
"Washington Square is ... a good place if you have a different style of learning. At my home high school I feel like I'm learning to test; here, I'm learning how to apply it". - Dayne (right, Diesel)
