Our Annual Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 10am-3pm. If you’re interested in selling your crafts at the fair, please complete an application by clicking here.

Hello NRMS Families,

Next week we invite all parents/guardians of current NRMS students to attend our annual Open House event on Thursday September 19. For any parent who would like information about the music program, please arrive to attend a meeting in room 107 (Band room-behind the auditorium) at 4:30pm and end in time for the start of Open House. The Open House begins in our auditorium at 5pm. Open House is an opportunity for you to learn about our school, learn about the curriculum, and meet teachers and school leaders. It is intended for parents/guardians and not for students. It is not intended to be a time for individual conferences about your child. You can always reach out to teachers or counselors to check in about your child. Here is the schedule for the Open House

We strive to keep families up to date regularly. In addition to this weekly newsletter, our new App, our website, Facebook and Instagram are all great sources of information. Additionally Aspen, our student information system can provide updates on grades. Next week our Week-at-a-Glance updates for each grade level team will return. These documents will be linked in this newsletter and will provide you with a preview of upcoming assessments and assignments.

Sometimes you may have concerns and while we hope it is rare, some complaints about the school. In order to model positive behavior for our students, please reach out with questions or share your concerns directly with a teacher, counselor, or administrator so we can address them or provide clarification. If we all take this step instead of posting negative posts on Facebook, it helps us form that essential partnership between home and school that sets each of our students up for success.

We have had a wonderful start to the year. I am hopeful of having a great turnout at the Open House where we can get the community together, meet one another, and set up that strong relationship that is so essential for student success. See you next week.
