Spring Fest 2025 was an incredible success — and it's all because of YOU! 💫 Whether you joined us in person for the carnival fun or placed bids in our online silent auction, your support helped make this our biggest fundraiser of the year. 🙌

Thanks to your amazing generosity, our silent auction raised over $30,000 for our school! 🥳 Every dollar goes straight back to supporting our students, teachers, and programs — and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We're rolling out the red carpet and sprinkling a little pixie dust as we celebrate the magic our incredible teachers bring to Prairie Trail every single day! This year’s theme is Disney, and we can’t wait to show our teachers just how enchanting they are. 🏰🍎✨

If your child is a current student at Prairie Trail ES, you do NOT need to enroll them again. Only NEW students need to enroll. Children who have NOT already been in an LISD school need to enroll. All families with returning children, will have Back to School paperwork to fill out in late July or early August but do not need to enroll again.

Miss the line at Spring Fest and order your wrist bands TODAY, Sunday, April 6th.

Today is the last day to order wristbands and get them before the event on Friday, April 11th. Be on the lookout for your wristbands in your child's backpack on Monday or Tuesday of this week. If you pre-order your wristbands by today, you will get them and won't have to wait in line to pick them up.

If your child will not be returning to Prairie Trail next school year, will you please email Monica Saucedo at saucedom@lisd.net or prairietrailattendance@lisd.net and let us know you are not returning.

Let me start by saying, filling out the Classroom Input form is OPTIONAL!

SPECIFIC TEACHER REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

Consideration for placement is given to each and every student at Prairie Trail Elementary School. It is our firm belief that ALL CHILDREN have unique talents, strengths, feelings, and need to be enriched and challenged. The administration and staff are sensitive to those individual and unique qualities of each child and we strive to create a learning environment that best meets each student's needs.
Please know that the appropriate placement of each student and the selection of a classroom teacher for each group of students will be the final decision of the principal, assistant principal, and counselor.

If you have more than one child at Prairie Trail, and feel you need to provide input for each of them, you will need to fill out the form for each child.

Yearbooks are here! If you pre-ordered a yearbook, it has been given to your child. Please check their backpack or reach out to your child's teacher and/or Stacey Domzalski at domzalskis@lisd.net if you have questions about pre-ordered yearbooks.

If you did not pre-order and would like to purchase one, we have a small amount available starting on Thursday morning, May 8th. Yearbooks are $40 cash, no checks or credit. It is first come, first serve.

You can stop by the front office after 7:45 am Thursday morning if you do not want to send cash with your child.
