Dear Franklin Families,
What a fantastic Right to Read Week it has been! Seeing our students engage with books, explore new genres, and connect through reading has been truly inspiring.
Thank you to our amazing PTO for everything they did for our special person lunch and book fair! We are one lucky school community.
We are looking forward to our Variety Show coming up and welcoming the month of March!
Important Announcement: Winter Recess
We love giving students the chance to enjoy the fresh air! Students will go outside for recess when the feels-like temperature is 15°F or above and it is not raining.
To play in the snow, students must come prepared with gloves, snow pants, snow boots, and a change of shoes. Thank you for helping ensure our students stay warm and ready for winter fun!

Happy Friday, Franklin!
Join Us for a Special Book Talk at Wadsworth Public Library!
We are excited to invite you to a thought-provoking evening at Wadsworth Public Library on March 20th! Together with Valley View School Counselor, Mrs. Paz, we will be hosting a book talk focused on the insightful and timely book, The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness by Jonathan Haidt.
This event is designed for parents and guardians to come together and discuss the challenges our youth face today in navigating an increasingly complex world. We'll be sharing valuable insights, resources, and strategies for supporting the mental well-being of our children, while also fostering a supportive community where we can learn from each other.
Date: March 20th
Location: Wadsworth Public Library
Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
We look forward to connecting with you and fostering an open discussion on how we can better understand and address the mental health needs of our youth. We hope you can join us for this important conversation!
