Principal's Post
Hello Wildcat Families,
We truly have a fun and busy month ahead. It’s important for you to be aware of this month’s events (Book Fair, Parent Teacher Conferences, Half Days, Rodeo Break and more) and make sure to read any emails, fliers, and messages that will go home.
We can’t stress the importance of making sure your child/ren are at school and on time. With our AZELLA testing sessions occurring, I would also like to request you to schedule appointments after school hours, so our students don’t miss testing sessions. Once they start an assessment, they have to finish it or it is invalid. Every single child is required to take an assessment for the state (AZELLA, DIBELS, AZSci, AASA, Civics). Starting now until the end of April, we as a school and district will have a variety of assessments that must be completed. Each of these assessments and their results impact both your child and our school. Please encourage your child to try their best, make sure they get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast.
I would also like to remind all of our families of the importance of ensuring we are following our morning drop off procedures and after school dismissal procedures for the safety of our students.
- Use the proper cross walks
- Slow speed in the parking lot
- Park in appropriate parking spaces
- Follow expectations per school staff
