Dear Families,
Good afternoon! It has been another busy week here at St. Joseph School. Last Saturday, our elementary Science Olympiad team traveled to Auburn. We placed in 12 out of 20 categories and ranked 7th out of 16 teams. Congratulations to all participants! Our Read Across America Week was a joyful celebration! We enjoyed guest readers and had a fun Dr. Seuss dress-up day, bringing stories to life and promoting a love for reading. Lent also began this week with a meaningful Ash Wednesday service, reflecting on the significance of this season in our community. Tonight, we end the week with the 1st Knights of Columbus Fish Fry of the season and the Junior High Masquerade Dance.
There are just a few weeks left until Spring Break, and they are shaping up to be busy as well. Our Junior High Science Olympiad is competing tomorrow in Athens, AL! Please join us in wishing our talented students the best of luck as they showcase their hard work. Next Friday and Saturday our students will finally be able to present "Finding Nemo". We can't wait to share this wonderful performance with you. Report cards will be going home on Friday. Please take a moment to review them with your child and return the signature form.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely in Christ,
Mrs. Courtney Magee
