Welcome to December! While we are quickly approaching winter break, there are many activities and events happening at school between now and the end of the semester in January. Please be sure to note the fliers in this newsletter as well as the upcoming dates section at the bottom. We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these events!

Actions Taken:

• Board approved Policies EBBB, GBEB, GBEB-AR, GBEBA (Delete), JHCA/JHCB, JHCC (Delete), JHCC-AR (Delete), JHCCA (Delete), JHCCF, JBAA, JBAA-AR as proposed.
• Board approved the 24-25 budget resolutions as proposed.

Other Agenda Items:

• A strategic planning update was provided.
• The board discussed policy GBEB as it pertains to head lice (pediculus) and conferred with the school district nurse regarding best practices, policies, and procedures.
• The board, Superintendent, and North Wasco Transportation department discussed policy EBCD as it relates to recent school closures. It was noted that the district has the option for half day Fridays to be converted to full-day Fridays in order to make up lost instructional hours, if needed.
