2024-25 Project Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Wednesday, July 24, we had our groundbreaking ceremony for our 2024-25 Project to enhance our school facilities. We are building a new student activities center, new weight room, renovating our pool, renovating the final classrooms at CHS, and several other miscellaneous projects in all of our schools. The projects are funded through the $19MM lease rental proceeds issued in April following the hearing and approval process by our school board. The funding is included in our Debt Service Fund and keeps our tax rate neutral at $.94 per $100 of assessed valuation. Our overall tax rate has remained steady for the past several years. We will continue to be great stewards of our tax payer's dollars and remain grateful for their investment in our schools to ensure we are developing confident, independent students who productively impact society!
