Principal's Corner π
Greetings Aspire Families:
As we get closer to stepping into another exciting month of learning, I am continually inspired by the dedication and resilience of our students, teachers, and families. Our virtual classrooms have been buzzing with creativity, collaboration, and a passion for knowledge. It's truly remarkable to see how our community comes together, embracing the challenges of online learning while celebrating the many successes.
This month, we will be focusing on our FIRE matrix by demonstrating and recognizing exemplar behaviors. I encourage all students to take advantage of the many opportunities to connect, engage, and grow. Whether through class discussions, special projects, or extracurricular activities, there is always a way to be an active part of our vibrant learning community.
To our families, thank you for your continued support. Your partnership is invaluable in ensuring that each student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed. Please donβt hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas to help enhance our school environment.
This week, we have some exciting events and opportunities lined up. Please keep an eye out for updates and encourage your child to participate fully in the various activities. Remember, your involvement and encouragement are key to their success:
πParent Teacher Conferences: will be scheduled in October. Be on the look out for teacher emails and announcements.
β Grades for K-8: As we get closer to the end of the quarter- Please be mindful of close dates and due dates. All grades are due to administration on 10/3.
πECAPs: High School Students- Please plan to attend the ECAP presentations that are listed in the counselor corner in the newsletter.
ποΈInnovation Center Behaviors: Students, please remember to follow all school rules while on site at the Innovation Center. Parents and Students: the use of cell phones is not permitted during class time. They cause a distraction to other in person learners.
π»Classroom Routines: By now, students should be familiar with their daily routines and expectations. Please continue to encourage them to stay organized and focused as they adapt to the new school year.
β
Attendance Submission: Remember to submit your attendance via My Hours. This helps us keep track of your participation and ensures we can provide the necessary supports for your learning. Your attendance is crucial, so please make sure to submit it on time.
Have a wonderful and restful weekend!
As always, if you questions or concerns, please contact your administrator,
Mrs. Juliet Amara @ Aspire@dvusd.org.
