Collins Hill Families,

April was another amazing month on The Hill! We had much to celebrate this month. The CHHS Theater Company put on an outstanding production of the teen version of Hell Town this month. If you couldn’t attend, you missed out on an exceptional performance! Our Hope Club was selected as the 2025 Transformation Award Winning Club for GCPS High Schools. We also still have several of our athletic teams involved in post-season competition such as track & field and boys’ soccer.

I am extremely excited to share that the CHHS Relay for Life Team, Eagles Soaring Towards a Cure earned gold status as a team and raised over $6500 for cancer treatment and research.

As we enter the final three weeks of the 2024-2025 school year, I want to ask all families to continue to partner with us in our efforts to help our students finish strong. Please monitor your student’s grades and attendance. It is critical that students attend all classes daily and make up all missing assignments as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to closing out this year in a positive manner with our students and staff and to celebrating the class of 2025 at graduation on May 25th.

Go Eagles!

Outstanding Fines Outstanding Fines

The end of the year is approaching quickly, and we want to make sure students take care of any outstanding fines before summer. Overdue notices have been sent out for any outstanding textbooks, and teachers should be communicating with students about any additional materials that need to be returned. All fines can be paid on MyPaymentsPlus, and any materials (books, calculators, etc.) that your student still has can be returned to the appropriate teacher at any time. For seniors, this is very important because if these fines are not paid and/or materials are not returned, graduation tickets will be held. Graduation practice is on May 21st at 1pm. All outstanding fines must be taken care of by this date in order for your student to receive his/her graduation tickets. Thank you for your cooperation!
