Cedar Park PTC Seeks Director of Volunteers
There's one more Board position up for grabs for 2021-22: Director of Volunteers.
The Director of Volunteers oversees CPMS’s volunteer needs, but is not responsible to plan and organize every volunteer activity.
Here’s a quick education on what that role entails:
Serves a one year term
Can be shared between one to two parents
Promotes & encourages volunteer activities, including managing the district volunteer software (training provided)
Attends one BSD Parent Group Leadership training
Organizes the fall’s Volunteer Orientation
- Acts as a liaison between the PTC and CPMS regarding volunteer needs
- Create and maintain volunteer badges if needed
The success and engagement of our Cedar Park community is powered by YOU-- the parents and community members willing to contribute their time and energy to the health of this organization.
If you are interested or would like to learn more regarding the Volunteer Coordinator, please contact Jenna Dornblaser (volunteers@cedarparkptc.org).

Another Successful Staff Appreciation Week!
"Thank you all for making us feel appreciated and loved," shares Art teacher, Tony Burton. "You always go above and beyond to do this, and it was even more special this year."
None of this would be possible without the generous PTC donations from our Cedar community.
Interested in organizing Staff Appreciation events next year? Grab (guilt) a friend and make it happen! Contact Jenna (volunteers@cedarparkptc.org) for more info. **Side note: It's the best committee of them all :)

BEF Hosts Cedar Park's "Let's Read a Good Book" Fundraiser
Cedar Park’s Library Media Specialist, Debbie Hernandez, is seeking funding to get a book into the hands of all 866 Cedar Park students this summer.
“A lot of our students have not been able to get to libraries this school year and have been reading less. If we give them a book of their own, this would encourage them to read more and get excited about new adventures and places that are in books,” Debbie shares.
“We would distribute these books at the end of the school year as a summer reading project. This will encourage more reading during summer and by rewarding with more books purchased with the credit we will receive from Scholastic.”
The BEF New Project Match will match your contribution to this project dollar-for-dollar, up to 50% towards the campaign goal of $1700. Click HERE to support Cedar Park students’ summer reading and have your donation doubled.
