CHS 7th Grade Field Trip
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ALL FORMS AND PAYMENTS IS FEBRUARY 28TH
It may be cold and snowy outside, but we are already thinking of Spring here at CHS!! The days are already getting longer, and we are thinking ahead to fun times and adventures.
As a part of the Classroom Outdoor Series, April 23rd is STEAM Day at Comerica Park. Our 7th Grade Students are invited to an outdoor educational presentation and are then able to watch the Detroit Tiger's Game following the lesson.
The field trip “package” can be found within this newsletter, and contains: student field trip permission slip, chaperone sign up, student behavior contract, parent volunteer form, and parent background check form. If you have any questions about any aspect of this field trip, please reach out to kristenberry@wlcsd.org
Student forms, payment, and the behavior contract need to be returned by Friday, February 28, 2025 so that tickets can be secured and the bus numbers can be confirmed.
Interested in chaperoning? Please be sure to read all parts of this email, as there is a time sensitive Google Form that will need to be filled out and returned.
Field Trip Details:
What: Comerica Park Classroom Outdoors Series and a Tigers Game
When: Wednesday, April 23, 2025
Where: Comerica Park, Detroit
Time: 8:30a- 5:00p, via private charter bus
Cost: $45 per student and chaperone
Please note that all checks can be made out to WLCSD.
Please print the forms below at home. Packets will not be sent home with each student.
There will be a limited number of hard copies in the main office if needed.
