Wilson Focus Facts April-May 2024
Lion Pride News for our FOCUS Families!
Principal's Message
Greetings Families,
Spring has sprung, according to the calendar, but Mother Nature seems to have other ideas! We are still having chilly days that require jackets, but we know warmer days are on the way.
Thank you to all parents and guardians for taking the time to make conferences a priority, so that we can continue to work together the remainder of the school year to meet your child's goals.
NSCAS Reading-Math assessments and MAP Science assessments will take place April 16th through May 3rd. Please help your child get a good nights sleep and encourage them to do their very best! It is time for students to shine and take a bow for their success!!
We have exciting end of the year events planned for the rest of the school year. See the list below.
We know, that together, we will finish the year strong and continue to bloom and grow!
Mrs. Jacobs

ATTENDANCE
Attendance continues to be very important as we finish up the school year. Excessive absences are highly correlated to academic success.
As in academics, we are working towards goals of improvement in attendance. Students meeting goals for 95% attendance and improvement goals will receive recognition for 3rd and 4th quarter! Students will also be recognized for improvement.
Please make sure to call the school at (531)299-2260 when your child is absent to verify the reason for absence and safety. If unable to reach the secretary, please leave a message. A staff member will be contacting you if your child has excessive tardies and/or days of unexcused absences.
