Teacher Feature! π
This month, we are thrilled to celebrate Danielle Monahan as our "Teacher Feature." Danielle is concluding her 5th year as a Special Education Teacher in our Technical Education Program at the WEB Complex. Known for her student-centered approach, Danielle excels in collaborating with teachers and supporting instruction across various CTE programs, including Building Construction, AutoTech, Criminal Justice, and Outdoor Power.
Danielle's dedication is best captured by the words of her colleague, Robin Polkosnik: "I am very blessed to have Danielle Monahan as the staff member assigned to my class to support the needs of students who are taking my class at Herkimer BOCES. I asked Danielle to come in to support me during a particularly busy activity I had planned and she graciously came to my room and not only supported students assigned to her caseload but made herself available to all students. I am privileged to call Danielle my colleague as well as my friend."
Danielle's commitment to her students and her ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment make her an invaluable asset to our team. We are proud to recognize her outstanding contributions and look forward to many more years of her impactful teaching.
Congratulations, Danielle! We appreciate all you do for your program. Please enjoy a cup of coffee on Instructional Support Services.
