I have passed out all the music for our holiday lunch concerts and our IGLLS Christmas program. Please begin working on those songs along with your lessons.

I also sent home a few wire music stands. Enjoy using them to hold your music. If you did not get one and need one, just ask me.

Practice Tip:

Start your practice by warning up on your favorite songs. That will get your fingers and embouchure working well.

In addition to teaching private music lessons at IGLLS, I am a bus driver for the Spencer Schools, serve as chair of the Spencer ADA Council, direct the choir at Christ the King Lutheran and am a part-time janitor at Spencer Middle School. In my free time I enjoy reading, walking, biking, cooking and keeping up with my siblings Sue in Loveland, CO and David in Forest City.

My parents were both music educators. My brother and sister-in-law are band directors in Forest City, IA. My grandfathers were both ministers in the Presbyterian and Methodist churches.

Music has always been a part of my life and its fun to share this gift with our young people at IGLLS so they can add their praises to our Loving Lord in song.
